The Central Bureau of Investigation today sought the co-operation of the Andhra Pradesh Government and various departments in completing the ongoing enquiry into disproportionate assets case of Mr Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy, Member of Parliament and President YSR Congress Party, and investments made into his companies, and matter relating to Emaar Properties.
The Joint Director of the apex investigating agency, Mr V.V. Lakshmi Narayana, today called on the Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary, Mr S.V.Prasad, and discussed various aspects of the ongoing probe into these two major cases entrusted to the CBI by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
According to the CBI, the investigation will also factor some of the decisions taken during late Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy and his Cabinet.
Land allotments
Issues relating to land allotments and some of the changes brought about in long-term contracts would be taken up.
