Mercedes-Benz India has launched a limited-edition version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63. Called the “Collector’s Edition”, this model is inspired by India’s tapestry and landscape. Only 30 such examples, all exclusive to India, will be made and each will be offered with personalisation options including the chance to put the customer’s name on the car’s grab handle. The exterior colour choices are Mid Green Magno and Red Magno, 22-inch AMG wheels are standard, and denoting exclusivity, the spare wheel cover comes with a ‘One of Thirty’ plaque. Powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, which makes 577 bhp and 86.73 kg-m, the G 63 Collector’s Edition carries a price tag of ₹4.3 crore, ex-showroom, and its deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.

Maruti Suzuki cars score well in Bharat NCAP

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has earned itself a five-star rating in the latest Bharat NCAP crash test, becoming the first sedan to do so. It scored 29.46 out of 32 for adult protection, whereas for child occupants, the score was 41.57 out of 49.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno, on the other hand, scored four stars, with 26.52 out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 34.81 out of 49 for child occupant safety. This was for the six-airbag version, while the dual-airbag Baleno scored 24.04 points for adult occupant.

This is the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

Royal Enfield has released photos of the upcoming Himalayan 750. While details are scarce, the Himalayan 750 appears to be a retro-styled ADV with a high-mounted exhaust, a half fairing and a circular headlight.

It also gets USD forks and a dual-disc braking setup at the front. It’s likely to use a larger version of the existing 650 cc parallel-twin engine.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition launched

Priced at ₹69.04 lakh, ex-showroom, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition has been launched in India. It gets features like a motorised footstep, a rear-seat entertainment setup (with two 11.6-inch Android-based screens for rear passengers) and front and rear dash cameras.

Set to be made available from June 13 onwards, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition stays mechanically unchanged; a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which makes 268 bhp and 40.78 kg-m powers the SUV.
