The Enforcement Directorate questioned the accused in the illegal mining case on Sunday.
The ED officials came to Chanchalguda Jail here and questioned suspended IAS officer, Ms Y. Srilakshmi, former mining department official, Mr Rajagopal, and managing director of Obulapuram Mining Company, Mr Srinivasa Reddy for over three hours.
According to sources, they were quizzed on the points mentioned in charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation earlier. Written replies were also obtained.
The case pertains to the illegal mining leases granted to OMC, owned by Karnataka MLA and ex-minister, Mr Gali Janardhana Reddy.
On Monday, ED is likely to question Matrix Labs’ founder and industrialist, Mr Nimmagadda Prasad as well as others in connection with the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP, Mr Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
