Air Pegasus today said it would soon launch flights to Cudappah in Andhra Pradesh.
The airline had last month commenced commercial operations with flight services to Hubballi and Thiruvananthapuram from its base in Bengaluru, becoming the second regional air operator after Air Costa to do so.
After having tasted success with close to 80 per cent load factor in these cities, Air Pegasus would launch its flight service to Cudappah in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of Rs 1,234 per ticket, the company said in a release.
The connectivity to Cudappah, which has a strong base for mining and manufacturing, will help many regional businesses expand their reach beyond the conventional market, it said.
Air Pegasus Managing Director Shyson Thomas said, “The response to our two inaugural destinations has been overwhelming so far and this makes us extremely confident to add more destinations to our route map combined with our dynamic pricing of Rs 1,234.”
Decor Aviation, which owns and operates Air Pegasus, is part of the Decor Group of Companies, providing ground handling services to Indian and foreign carriers across 11 airports in India.
Based out of the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, Air Pegasus will subsequently scale up its services gradually to connect Kochi, Chennai, Belgaum, Rajahmundry Pondicherry and Madurai, the company said.
