A two-day ‘Travel and Tourism Bazaar' participated by Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu began here on Monday.
Altogether 15 stalls have been put up to showcase the tourism of the participating States.A stall of a few rural tourism projects of Mawlynnong and Langkyrdem villages was put up by the Meghalaya government, which is organising the event.
The ‘Bazaar' was an outcome of three consecutive Travel and Tourism Bazaars successfully organised in Kolkata from 2008, Director of Fairs and Travels, Mr Sudipto Lahiry said.
