The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) and a Kolkata-based NGO, Education for All, signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday to promote environmental awareness training programmes.
According to a release issued by the NGO, the MoU will facilitate strategic partnership and collaboration on WFUNA’s training programmes across the country.
The MoU was signed by Bonian Gulmohammadi, Secretary-General, WFUNA, and H. M. Bangur, Trustee of Education for All and Managing Director, Shree Cement. Kiran Mehra Kerpelman, Director of United Nations Information Centre (India and Bhutan) was also present.
“This partnership will further add to our expanding field of work across the globe. I am sure the projects jointly carried out with Education for All would benefit society,” Gulmohammadi said.
