Nasscom is not revising the 16-18 per cent software and services export growth target for fiscal 2012, the President, Mr Som Mittal, said on Tuesday.
“We are not revising the target, we had already factored in some bit of uncertainty while outlining the targets,” Mr Mittal said on the sidelines of the BPO summit.
Mr Mittal said the Indian BPO industry was involved in business that was “sticky” and “mission critical”.
“If there is a negative confluence of macro-economic factors together, then uncertainty may come in. But right now, the hiring continues,” he said.
