Tata Consultancy Services has been ranked third in the FinTech 100, an annual international ranking of the top vertical technology vendors who derive more than one-third of their revenue from the financial services industry as named by American banker Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights.
This is the fourth consecutive year that TCS has figured among the top 10 in FinTech 100 and has moved up the ladder by one rank from last year, the company said in its filings with the NSE.
Nearly 45 per cent of the revenue of TCS was from banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) during 2010-11. The ranking is based on calendar year revenue and the percentage of revenue from BFSI segment.
