Tata Consultancy Services has won a multi-million, multi-year contract from UK’s Home Office. The Home Office is a key department of the UK government to manage the technology needs and support services of the newly formed Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). TCS will implement a programme to transform DBS and introduce electronic applications and improved online services to enhance user experience. According to the agreement, TCS will provide end-to-end process, technology and operations support for an initial period of five years, said a statement from the company. The TCS stock closed at Rs 1,298.05, up 0.23 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
