Tamil Nadu is promoting the Tidel Park Coimbatore through attractive tenancy charges.
Coimbatore city has contributed nearly Rs 700 crore to the State's software exports in the last financial year.
The total tenancy charge, including rent and O&M, is fixed at Rs 42-44 per sq ft per month.
This is on par with globally competitive rates, according to Ms Susan Mathew, Managing Director, TIDCO, and chairperson of Tidel Park Coimbatore.
The Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation and Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu have jointly constructed the IT park in Elcot IT-SEZ at a cost of Rs 407 crore.
One company is operational at present while two more are doing fittings, she said at a roadshow to showcase the park.
