E-commerce major Amazon is strengthening its data centre business in India through an investment of ₹1,380 crore into the entity. According to documents sourced from data intelligence platform, paper.vc, Amazon has invested ₹1,380 crore into Amazon Data Services India. The entity, which was started in 2016, provides data storage, data protection solutions, and operations. Amazon had invested a similar amount into the data centre in 2016.
