The buzz about digital business transformation has been in the air for some time now. But most organisations tend to focus on adding digital technology to their existing business. Very few actually disrupt this space.
It is imperative for companies to reinvent themselves and focus on holistic transformation, says Sanjay Menon, MD at Digital Consulting Firm Publicis Sapient.
In a chat with BusinessLine , Menon said the company helps organisations recreate their core business model with the power of data.
“We help our customers create value in the way they work and serve their customers from an enterprise standpoint. Technology presents more options for firms to innovate,” he added.
Unfortunately, most brands are tied to their current business state. They will need to keep pace with the rapid change, strive for a paradigm shift to thrive, observed Menon. The pace is not only rapid, but continuous as well, he said, stressing the need for brands to move with agility.
“We help customers leverage technology and help bring great depth and ability to create value for data,” Menon said.
When asked how Publicis Sapient viewed the market here, he said: “Our single largest operation happens in India. We look to India for talent, to create depth in class. It has become a hub as close to 60 per cent of the workforce are here.”
