A growing number of e-commerce companies in the Nordic region and resultant increase in demand for IT solutions to take care of warehousing and delivery prove to be a good opportunity for Indian IT firms that are working in logistics solutions. Four Soft, the Hyderabad-based firm, sees a good opportunity in the region, particularly in Denmark.
Addressing a Nasscom session ‘Location Denmark – Your springboard into the Nordics' here on Wednesday, Mr Biju Nair, Chief Financial Officer of Four Soft, said it paid to invest in Denmark.
Four Soft, which acquired a Denmark firm Transaxiom in 2007, said demand for the logistics services surged post the global economic recovery in 2010. “The logistics market in the Nordic region is characterised by intense competition, overcapacity, and depressed prices. The market is strongly linked to the economy and expected to grow over the next few years,” he said.
