Hughes Communications India (HCI) today said it has received a contract worth Rs 24.6 crore from Punjab government.
Hughes will supply and operate satellite-based network to deliver content to students in educational institutions throughout the State.
Hughes will connect about 2,960 schools with educational content and lectures either pre-recorded or set up as live telecasts from studios based in Mohali and broadcast across Punjab, it added.
