MTS launches new data plans

Sistema Shyam TeleServices, that operates its telecom services under the MTS brand, has launched a range of competitive and value-for-money data plans for its customers across Mumbai.

The company has announced new data plans in denominations ranging from Rs 96 to Rs 1,499. Keeping in mind high data usage of certain customers, special tariff vouchers of Rs 998 and Rs 1,499 has been introduced to provide greater value to data customers.

According to Ashoo Sethi, Chief Operating Officer, Mumbai Circle, MTS India, “We have specially designed these new tariffs to provide our data customers with a world class mobile Internet experience at the most affordable price backed by increased usage benefits.”

Strengthening its product portfolio, the company is keen to enhance usage benefits in a move aimed at providing a wide array of value for money propositions and benefits to MBlaze customers across the circle.

MTS has over 16 million wireless customers. In Mumbai, the company has crossed the 1.5 lakh data customer milestone.

MTS MBlaze customers in Mumbai can avail themselves of these tariff plans through a retail network of over 7,000 retailers and 50 MTS branded retail outlets.

The company is a venture, involving equity participation by Sistema of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Shyam group of India.
