Google on Wednesday came out with its thirteenth Olympic doodle and its second interactive one for the London Olympics 2012.
The doodle is a basketball game where users have to score within the stipulated time, that is, 24 seconds.
In the basketball doodle, a male basketball player dressed in blue is seen ready for action inside a stadium.
Users need to press the blue start button at the doodle's homepage, which "activates" the game. The player, actually, springs into action once the blue button is pressed.
One has to play using the computer's keyboard. The users can make the player start shooting basketballs by pressing on the spacebar of the keyboard. The longer you hold down the space bar, the more power the player attains in shooting the ball.
The game becomes more challenging as a user goes on scoring. The time, for the game is displayed on the board located as a background of the doodle. As in case of an actual game, the countdown starts with the first throw of the ball.
The logo of Google appears in the seats giving the impression of the letters being the audience for the game.
Google 's previous interactive doodle for the Olympics featured hurdle racing.
Its non-interactive doodles featured fencing, synchronised swimming, diving among others.
