Snuvik Technologies has collaborated with T John Institute of Technology on entrepreneurship as a career path for students.
According to Sudev Alampalli, VP, India operations for Snuvik Technologies, with the concept of education changing, students have to be encouraged to link their real life experience with theory. Innovative and critical thinking are key elements in entrepreneurship."
Further, students were taught how an IT company works, daily challenges and different ways of collaboration. The interaction was between employees of Snuvik and students. Company officials added that this will be an ongoing engagement. India is seeing a burst in startup activity and industry estimates peg that there are around 4,200 startups, which has grown 40 per cent over 2014, in turn, becoming the largest startup-base in terms of volume, according to a report by Nasscom and Zinnov. Also, India has now emerged as the youngest start-up nation in the world with over 72 per cent founders are less than 35-years-old.
