Digitate, a software products venture of Tata Consultancy Services, on Tuesday announced the release of ignio Cheetah, an upgrade of its cognitive automation product suite for IT operations and workload management.
ignio Cheetah augments blueprinting and automation functionality with several new capabilities, including Intelligent events and alerts management, capable of real-time detection and prediction of anomalous IT conditions that need attention, suppression of redundant or false alerts, aggregation of correlated events, and prioritisation of alerts based on business impact; Intelligent incident handling, with auto-triage capability that learns from experience.
A key component of the Cheetah release is ignio Studio, which makes it easier for users to extend the functionality to support newer technologies and use-cases, TCS said in a statement.
“This is a significant milestone in our journey. ignio Studio will also make it easier to extend cognitive automation to business functions across the enterprise,” Harrick Vin, Global Head, Digitate, said.
Akhilesh Tripathi, Chief Commercial Officer, Digitate, added, “Within a short period of time, across industries, many large organisations have already discovered how ignio improves their IT operations and employee experience, while generating significant cost savings. With its enhanced features, ignio Cheetah will accelerate the speed with which new customers can achieve similar benefits.”
