TV Today Network Ltd today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 11.98 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a loss of Rs 35.07 lakh during the same period of the previous fiscal, TV Today Network said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales rose 25.9 per cent to Rs 88.84 crore in the April-June quarter from Rs 70.57 crore a year earlier.
Revenue from TV broadcasting rose to Rs 85.88 crore this quarter from Rs 68.43 crore.
TV Today’s revenue from FM radio broadcasting increased to Rs 3.01 from Rs 2.2 crore in first quarter of last year.
The company’s shares closed at Rs 54.60 on the BSE, down 4.71 per cent.
