Xiaomi is planning to double the number of physical stores.
While talking to bloggers in Bengaluru, the India head of Xiaomi, Manu Jain, said the company is in discussion with Airtel to double the number of stores from 120 to 240. The Chinese device maker plans to do this soon but did not give a timeline.
Recently, the company announced its intention to sell through physical stores in addition to selling online through Flipkart, its exclusive partner. Jain, however, added that the company will continue to sell through Flipkart.
