Premium smart devices brand Xolo today said it aims to have 10 per cent marker share in the tablet PC market by March 2014 and is targeting the urban consumers.
“We aim to have around 10 per cent share of the tablet market by the end of this financial year,” Xolo Business Head, Sunil Raina said.
“We currently have three tablets and we only operate in the over $100 segment,” he said.
The company today launched a 7-inch tablet for Rs 17,999, which it claims to be the world’s fastest in the segment.
The device runs on Android Jelly Bean and is powered by a Tegra 4 processor.
The Xolo Play Tegra Note is based on Nvidia’s complete tablet platform, which was announced by chipmaker Nvidia earlier this year.
The device comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD slot.
