Refined palmolein prices declined moderately at the oils and oilseeds market here on Saturday due to lack of buying support from retailers amidst lower Malaysian advices.
Meanwhile, castor seeds futures rebounded on fresh export enquiries.
Groundnut oil, castor seeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all closed unchanged in the absence of market moving factors.
In the edible oil segment, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 568 from yesterday’s closing level of Rs 572. Groundnut oil, however closed unchanged at Rs 745 per 10kg.
Turning to futures section, castor seeds for June delivery resumed higher at Rs 4,490 and hardened further to Rs 4,545 before ending at Rs 4,535 from Rs 4,460 previously, showing a smart rise of Rs 75 per tonne.
Moving to non edible oil section, castor seeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all closed unaltered at Rs 5,050, Rs 1,040 and Rs 660, respectively.
