Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 13.40 to Rs 932 a kg in futures trade today as traders created fresh positions driven by pick-up in spot market demand.

Market analysts said increasing export and domestic demand from pharmaceutical industries kept mentha oil prices up in the futures market.

Restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh further pushed up the prices, they added.
