Rubber skids to 6-year low

Spot rubber declined to a six-year low on Wednesday. RSS 4 weakened to ₹100 (₹100.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade dropped to ₹100.50 (₹101) and ₹97.50 (₹98) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. January futures improved to ₹101.60 (₹100.68), February to ₹102.05 (₹101.24) and March to ₹103.31 (₹102.80) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) weekend to ₹84.39 (₹85.56) at Bangkok. December futures closed at ¥150 (₹82.02) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 100 (100.50); RSS-5: 97.50 (98.50); Ungraded: 90 (90); ISNR 20: 82.50 (82.50) and Latex (60% drc): 75 (76).
