Turmeric prices rose in Erode on Monday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,900-7,319 a quintal, while the root variety sold at ₹5,699-6,816. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,899-7,300 and the rRoot variety at ₹5,650- 6,909. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric quoted ₹6,539-7,409, while the root variety sold at ₹5,929-6,989.
