Weak crop report lifts pulses
Even as new summer moong is expected to hit local mandis in the coming days, a weak crop report and non-availability of private stocks lifted moong prices at the mandis in Indore over the past week by ₹400 a quintal. Moong (bold) rose to ₹6,200-6,400 a quintal, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹5,500-5,800. Moong dal (medium) went for ₹7,500-7,600 a quintal, while moong dal (bold) ruled at ₹7,700-7,800.
