International Gemmological Institute (India) IPO listing today, International Gemmological Institute (India) share price updates: Shares of the International Gemmological Institute (India) made a strong debut on bourses today, listing at 21-22% premium over the IPO price. The IPO had a price band of ₹397-417. The IPO, valued at ₹4,225 crore, saw a strong subscription rate of 35.48 times, driven by high demand from qualified institutional buyers, who subscribed 48 times. The offering includes a fresh issue of ₹1,475 crore and an Offer-for-Sale of ₹2,750 crore. The company plans to use the funds to acquire IGI Belgium Group and IGI Netherlands Group and for general corporate purposes. Providing certification services for diamonds and colored stones, IGI holds a 33% market share globally. Top investment firms managed the IPO, including Axis Capital and Kotak Mahindra Capital.

International Gemmological shares jump over 22 pc in debut trade - PTI
Shares of diamond grading firm International Gemmological Institute India Ltd on Friday listed with a premium of over 22 per cent against the issue price of Rs 417.
The stock listed at Rs 504.85, up 21 per cent from the issue price on the BSE. It further jumped 25.89 per cent to Rs 525.
At the NSE, it began the trade at Rs 510, rallying 22.30 per cent.
The company’s market valuation stood at Rs 20,523.26 crore.
The initial public offer of International Gemmological Institute received 33.78 times subscription on the closing day of bidding on Tuesday.
The Rs 4,225-crore initial share sale had a price band of Rs 397-417 per share.
The IPO had a combination of a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 1,475 crore and an Offer For Sale (OFS) valued at Rs 2,750 crore by promoter BCP Asia II TopCo Pte Ltd, an affiliate of Blackstone.
The company proposes to utilise the proceeds from the fresh issue for the acquisition of IGI Belgium Group and IGI Netherlands Group from promoter, and general corporate purposes.
International Gemmological Institute (India) Ltd provides services related to the certification and accreditation of natural diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds, studded jewellery and coloured stones.

Shares of the International Gemmological Institute (India) will be listed at the bourses today. The company has fixed the IPO price at ₹417, at the upper end of the price band ₹397-417.
The ₹4,225-crore IPO was subscribed 35.48 times The offer from the Blackstone-backed diamond grading firm, consists of a fresh issue worth ₹1,475 crore and an Offer-for-Sale (OFS) for ₹2,750 crore by promoter BCP Asia II TopCo Pte Ltd, an affiliate of Blackstone.
According to the market buzz, the stock is likely to list with a premium of about 35-40 per cent.
The company has reserved 75 per cent of the issue size for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 15 per cent for non-institutional investors and the remaining 10 per cent for retail investors. Investors can place bids starting with a minimum of 35 shares and in multiples of 35 thereafter
