The board of directors of Sri Krishna Constructions (India) will meet on Friday (January 12) to consider and approve the proposal of migration of the company from the SME platform of the BSE to the mainboard of the bourse. The Board will consider a proposal to approve the draft notice of postal ballot and postal ballot form for obtaining the consent of shareholders to migrate to the mainboard. The board will also consider and approve the appointment of scrutiniser and fix the cut-off date. The stock of Sri Krishna Constructions closed at ₹156.45, up 0.38 per cent on the BSE-SME.

Venus Remedies closed its qualified institutional placement issue on Wednesday. The Board of Directors approved the issue price as ₹103.65 and the number of shares allocated to eligible qualified institutional buyers under the QIP. The issue was open on Tuesday and the company had fixed the floor price at ₹103.64. The company, however, did not disclose the number of shares it allotted to the QIBs. Shares of Venus Remedies closed 0.2 per cent lower at ₹118.65 on the NSE.

Lumax Industries on January 10 commenced commercial production at its new unit in Sanand, Gujarat. The unit has been set up to manufacture and supply new-age headlamps and rear lamps for Suzuki Motors, Gujarat, the company said in a statement to the exchanges. Shares of Lumax Industries closed flat at ₹2,107.45 on the NSE and 2 per cent lower at ₹2,082 on the BSE.
