The stock of Edelweiss Financial Services jumped 5 per cent on Wednesday, after the company informed the exchanges that its board has approved increase in foreign institution investors holding limit to 28 per cent from current 24 per cent.
Shares of Edelweiss Financial were trading at Rs 26.5, up 4.95 per cent over the previous day's close.
Currently, FIIs hold 22.24 per cent stake in the company while promoters control 37.2 per cent in the paid-up equity capital.
