The ₹500-crore rights issue of HCL Infosystems will open for subscription on Tuesday at an offer price of ₹47. Eligible shareholders will receive 10 equity shares on rights basis for every 21 shares held by them. The record date for the purpose of determining the eligible shareholders is set at November 1. The company plans to utilise the proceeds of the issue for prepayment or repayment of certain borrowings and for general corporate purposes.
