Pharmaceutical scrip Lupin extended its morning rally to hold gains of 4.50 per cent at the close on Tuesday. The share was quoting at Rs 2007.9 at the close as against Rs 1,921.50 at close yesterday.
BPCL also held firm to keep gains of 3.55 per cent at Rs 740.8 as against Rs 715.40 at close on Monday.
Bharti Airtel was on a firm wicket, notching up gains of 2.77 per cent at Rs 393.85 as against Rs 383.25 at close yesterday.
NTPC steamed up 1.70 per cent to quote at Rs 152.70 as against Rs 150.15 at close on Monday.
GAIL (India) was trading at Rs 390 as against Rs 383.70 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 1.64 per cent.
