The board of directors of Mafatlal Industries on Friday took note of the retirement proposal from Praful R Amin. In a notification to the exchanges, the company said, Praful R Amin has, after a very long association of over 50 years with the company and Mafatlal Group, opted for retirement. Accordingly, he will retire and cease to be a director of the company from the closure of business hours on August 11. Shares of Mafatlal Industries closed at ₹332, down 3.6 per cent on the NSE.
