Sahara Group Chairman Subrata Roy, was spotted at the SEBI headquarters in Mumbai on Monday, according to sources. They said Roy’s attempt to meet the SEBI Chairman did not materialise and he met an Executive Director instead.
His visit to SEBI comes at a time when the Supreme Court on Monday asked Sahara to revert on Tuesday, whether its two companies Sahara India Real Estate Corporation and Sahara Housing Investment Corporation would be able to refund Rs 27,000 crore to investors within a week.
