The board of directors of TD Power Systems will meet on Wednesday to consider a proposal of buyback of equity shares. Shareholders would be keen to know the size and price of the buyback issue, besides its promoters’ interest. Of late, most promoters are participating in buybacks. The mode of buyback - whether through open market purchase or by tender process (on proportionate basis), are also crucial factors that investors would be watching, besides the record date.
