Welspun Corp on Thursday informed the exchanges that it has won an order from an American midstream major. The company has entered into a definitive agreement with an American midstream major to supply over 274 kilometers or 1.84 lakh tonnes of heavy wall, large diameter, 18-meter length, longitudinal saw line-pipe for a prestigious gas project in the Americas. With this order, the current order book of the company has crossed 9.58 lakh tonnes worth ₹5,500 crore, the company said. Shares of Welspun Corp jumped about 5 per cent at ₹87.9 on the NSE.
