The board of Balrampur Chini Mills will meet on Friday to consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares and matters related/ incidental thereto. Shareholders would be keen to know the size and price of the buyback issue.
Shareholders would also watch the promoters’ interest (will they participate or not) and the mode of buyback — open market purchase or tender process. If it is through the tender route, the record date will be an important factor.
