Allahabad Bank has increased its benchmark prime lending rate (BPLR) by 25 basis points, from 13.50 per cent to 13.75 per cent. The new rates will come into effect from February 24.
The revised BPLR will be applicable to those borrowers who have not yet switched over to the base rate. These borrowers can also switchover to the base rate whenever they desire at no extra cost.
