SKS Microfinance has hoped that the Malegan committee report could set the house in order if the Government accepted its recommendations on microfinance institutions.

“The report can resolve the situation. If they implement the committee recommendations, there will be no need for the Andhra Pradesh Act on microfinance institution Act,” Mr Vikram Akula, Chairperson of SKS Microfinance Ltd, told Business Line .
