Axis Bank has launched version 2.0 of its mobile banking application that segments mobile banking users into the youth, premium and prime segments.
Each of the three sets of customers will get to use a customised version of the mobile banking application on their Android and iOS enabled smartphones.
The bank said it hopes to reach out to 15 lakh customers through the mobile banking application by the end of March 2014.
According to estimates, a mobile banking transaction costs about a tenth of the total cost for similar transactions in branches.
