Bank of Maharashtra said in a press statement it has extended quick and hassle-free loans at liberalised terms to help customers meet day-to-day expenses and business enterprises address statutory dues.
“The MSME, agriculture, SHGs and retail segments are extended additional loan assistance under Covid-19 relief measures. The bank has sanctioned loans amounting to ₹2,789 crore under agriculture, SHGs, retail and MSMEs to almost 1 lakh beneficiaries between March and May 2020,” the press statement said. The bank has geared itself to extend the Centre’s stimulus package to help restart business activities, it added.
The bank further said it has initiated measures to increase awareness on its support services amongst customers via webinars, SMS, email, and telecalling by a dedicated team of professionals, as well as one-on-one contact over the phone by branches.
