ICICI Bank has launched an application through which customers can do transactions and check account-related information on their smartwatches. ICICI says that it is that first bank in the country to have enabled transactions through the smartwatch. The new app, ‘iWear by ICICI Bank’, has already gone live on smart watches powered by Google’s Android and Samsung’s Tizen platforms. It will also be made available on Apple Watch, said a statement from the bank.
