The year 2024 was a shining one for precious metals like gold and silver, as both commodities saw their prices appreciate significantly. Gold prices, which were around Rs. 63,000 per 10 grams at the beginning of the year, are now hovering around Rs. 78,000 per 10 grams, registering a significant increase of almost 24 percent. During the same period, silver witnessed an appreciation of around 16 percent, crossing Rs. 91,000 per kg at the end of the year, up from Rs. 78,600 per kg at the beginning.
