The third Partnership Summit of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will begin here on Saturday, with over 2,000 delegates attending the meet, 40 per cent of them being from abroad.
Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the three-day event. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union Ministers Suresh Prabhu and Ashok Gajapathi Raju will attend the function.
Memorandums of Understanding for business proposals entailing investment of roughly ₹3 lakh crore is expected to be signed this year as against MoUs worth ₹11 lakh crore signed during the two previous summits in 2016 and 2017.
