The Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) is organising a regional cost convention ‘CMA Summit 2014-15’ here on Friday and Saturday.
The Thiruvananthapuram chapter of cost and management accountants (CMAs) will host the event at the Al Saj Convention Centre, Kazhakuttam.
The theme of the summit is ‘Make in India - The role of CMAs.’
Transport Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the proceedings. Rural Development Minister KC Joseph and Health Minister VS Sivakumar, Minister for Health, will be other prominent presence. H Raja, National Secretary, BJP, will be the guest of honour.
H Padmanabhan, Chairman, of the Regional Council, will preside. AS Durgaprasad, President, ICAI, will deliver the keynote address.
Others taking part in technical sessions are A Jayathilak, Chairman, Spices Board and Rubber Board; M Sivasankar, KSEB Ltd; Anuradha Balaraman, Member-Secretary, Kerala Planning Board.
Around 1,000 delegates are expected to take part. Delegate registration is on and spot registration will commence from 8.30 am on Friday. Details are available on www. sircoficmai.in.
