Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in its efforts towards offering learner - friendly services has launched an Online Admission System (OAS).
The online admission system was launched today by in-charge Vice Chancellor of IGNOU Nageshwar Rao.
Applicants will now be able to submit their application forms online and receive instant confirmation for successful submission of their application forms through email and SMS, said Rao.
There is also a provision for payment of programme fee online using online payment gateway.
The facility will be available for the ongoing July 2015 admission session for all the 148 academic programmes.
The online admission facility can be accessed on official website of the university www.ignou.ac.in.
The last date for submission of application forms for bachelor preparatory programme, certificate, advanced certificate and PG certificate programmes will be June 15. The last date with a late fee of Rs 300 will be June 30.
In case of master, bachelor, PG diploma and diploma level programmes, the last date will be August 17 without late fee and August 31 with late fee of Rs 300.
