Indev Air Freight Station, India's first private air freight station, is to commence operations on Saturday. Located in Irungattukottai near Chennai, the AFS is expected to facilitate faster evacuation of cargo, minimise logistics cost, and improve tracking of cargo.

The Mumbai Cricket Association, at a meeting on Sunday, will take up banned cricketer Ankeet Chavan’s request to be allowed to resume his cricket career. Chavan along with S Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila were discharged in the 2013 IPL-6 spot-fixing case by a Delhi court, which held that the police had failed to make out a case against them.
