The Jammu and Kashmir Government employees on Wednesday demanded scrapping of the State’s pension policy saying it would deny pension to those employed after 2010.
Staging a protest in front of Raj Bhavan, members of All J&K State Employees Association (AJKSEA) demanded that the old policy be continued.
“We demand that 2010 pension policy, which deprives officials employed from 2010 of the pension, be revoked,” AJKSEA President, Subash Verma, said.
