A Chinese delegation touring India for cooperation in the fields of network infrastructure construction, digital economy, network security, culture, tourism and industries, met Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumarswamy on Tuesday.
The delegation was led by Mu Degui, Member of the Standing Committee, CPC, Guizhou Provincial Committee.
Kumarswamy urged the delegation to make Karnataka their first choice for investments as it is one of the most entrepreneurial States in India.
He explained that Karnataka was one of the top five R&D ecosystems of the world that has spun off a lot of innovations.
The State is giving strong emphasis on ease of doing business and this has led to transformational path and helped build partnerships both from within and outside the country.
The Chinese delegation held a promotional conference ‘Colourful Guizhou’ in Bengaluru later in the day.
