Current Theega (live wire), starring Manoj, the second son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, will be released in 25 countries apart from India on October 31. The producers claim that it is the widest release for any Telugu film.
The movie will be distributed overseas by the New York-based 24 Frames Factory, a distribution firm floated by Mohan Babu’s elder son Vishnu. It will be released in the US a day earlier.
The countries where the film will release include Australia, Canada, the UK, Malaysia, the Gulf, Uganda and Tanzania.
“We are targeting the Telugu diaspora in those countries that longs for Telugu content,” a press release said here on Tuesday.
