The Telangana Government has issued a Government order, announcing a financial assistance of Rs 51,000 to the poor minority families for the wedding of their daughters. Brides, whose family income doesn’t exceed Rs 2 lakh, will be eligible to receive the assistance from the Government.
The Order said that the families can get the money in advance, if their applications are submitted before one month of the wedding day.
The other eligibility criteria are that the brides should be above 18 years of age and residents of Telangana.
